Oracle R12 EBS Implementation: Aligning Local Operations with Global Standards
As the Project Lead for the Suzhou site, I orchestrated the transition from legacy localized systems to a standardized Oracle R12 E-Business Suite (EBS) environment. This wasn’t just a technical rollout; it was a complex organizational alignment involving global service teams, external consultants, and local stakeholders.
Key Leadership Pillars:
Process Engineering: I led the local functional teams to audit, define, and optimize business processes to ensure they met both global standards and local site requirements.
Vendor & Partner Management: I managed the external consultant team (Genpact), ensuring their standard solutions were delivered on time and fit for purpose.
Technical Architecture: I directed the local technical team in building the necessary application interfaces and digital infrastructure to support the R12 ecosystem.
Global Collaboration: Acted as the primary liaison with the Global Instance Service team, ensuring the Suzhou site’s solution was fully integrated into the enterprise-wide architecture.
The Impact: The successful implementation provided a robust, scalable platform that synchronized our Suzhou site with the global enterprise, significantly improving data transparency and reporting accuracy.
